What Are Your Policing Priorities?
November 17th, 2015 | by admin admin | in | 2Do you feel safe in Vancouver? Are the police doing a good enough job protecting you and yours? Or could they do better?
“We are your VPD and we want to hear your concerns,” says VPD Chief Constable Adam Palmer.
The Vancouver Police Department is asking for your help in developing a new strategic plan that will shape your policing services for the next five years.
Until December 1, you can give your input for the VPD’s next five year plan and help set its goals and priorities from 2016 to 2020. This online survey can be completed in English, Punjabi, Tagalog (Filipino), Arabic, Chinese and Korean.
The survey will ask for your areas of concern. What do you think police should focus on? Bike and auto theft? Violent crimes? Marijuana grow ups? Break and enters? Here’s your chance to speak up.
You will also find ballot boxes at
- all Vancouver Public Library locations
- Community Policing Centres,
- Community Centres
- Vancouver City Hall
- the VPD Property Office
The front counter at both VPD headquarters buildings – 2120 Cambie Street and 3585 Graveley Street will also have ballots.
