FIRE PROTECTION - FIRE EXTINGUISHER TECHNICIAN

The Purpose
Under the direction of the Shop Lead, the Fire Extinguisher Technician will be responsible for the refurbishing of dry/wet chemical extinguishers, hydrostatic testing,drying and maintences of low pressure & nitrogen cylinders, hydro devices and extinguishers. Other shop duties given by the Shop Lead may also be done by the fire exteinguisher technician.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifcations
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
- Computer skills and familiarity with commonly used office programs.
- Experience with use of hand tools
- Good record keeping
