FIRE PROTECTION - SHOP TECHNICIAN

The Purpose
Under the direction of the Shop Lead, the Shop Technician will be responsible to learn & carry out hydrostatic testing/drying of low and high pressure cylinders, maintenance and refurbishing of hydro test devices, as well as serve, receiv and process payment from customerscustomers at the counter. Other shop related duties can also be issued to the Shop Technician.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifcations
- Good mechanical ability
- Physically fit
- Repeatedly able to lift 50 lbs
- Squatting, bending, standing, twisting on a daily basis
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Good communication skills, both verbal, written, emails
- Fluent in English
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Forklift certification an asset
