The Purpose
Vancouver Fire is searching for certified technicians for fire protection. Our technicians wil provide services to comericial and home buildings. Fire protection technicians will provide regular maintentnce , testings and services to ensure the buildings and locations are protected and certified. The services include installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and repairs of: fire alarm systems, emergency lights, sprinkler systerms, backflow prevernters, fire hydrants, pumps, hoses, fire extinguishers, restaurant systems, fire surpression systems and emergency generators.
The Path
Fire Protection Service Technicians are the front line representation of the company at the customer’s building, and are therefore responsible to provide excellent customer service in addition to quality service work.They are responsible for the complete and accurate inspection, testing and repair of various fire protection services & equipment on-site at customer locations. The primary services are: fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire alarm systems & sprinkler systems. In addition, service may be required in the areas of: special suppression, fire pump, and fire hydrant & backflow systems.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
- You are a highly trained Fire Protection Service Technician with ASTTBC certifications.
- You are mechanically and electronically inclined and looking to make a difference.
