The Purpose
The Central Station Operator is cctively monitoring, reading, interpreting, responding to various advanced and technical security system signals which monitor commercial, residential and other facilitie. They serve as the first point of contact on emergencies, dispatching/coordinating appropriate internal & external teams including Emergency Response / 911 calls, technicians, sales, customer service and contractors. Operators will handle all incoming and outgoing central station calls, including after hours calls to provide guidance, resolve issues, and helping customers with their alarm systems. They must be able to complete a criminal check and obtain an security license. The candidate for this position will be working 4 days on - 4 days off rotated cycle at 12 hour shifts.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifcations
- Superior organizational skills
- Experience in a call centre environment an asset
- Think, react and make confident decisions quickly in high pressure situations
- Must pass a criminal check
- Reliable and Punctual
- Bilingualism is an asset
- vaild Security license is an assset
