The Purpose
Security Technicians are responsible for the complete and accurate installation and service of residential and commercial security and video surveillance equipment on-site at customer locations. Security Technicians must adhere to the highest ethical standards, creating a positive association between sales, installation, monitoring, customer service, and administration. The position requires that the technician constantly upgrades his skills as new products and standards develop to promote professionalism, excellence and 100% customer satisfaction.
The technician will arrive at all scheduled meetings and appointments on time, in uniform and properly equipped to complete the service work scheduled. The techinican will also work closely with other team members including the Team Lead and Customer Service Representative to ensure the timely delivery of new installations and maintenance of existing systems.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifcations
- has experience in construction type environment.
- has experience in installation of surveillance equipment
- has the ability to use a variety of precision and power tools.
- has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- work outdoors 75% of the time in any weather condition.
- work safely alone or in a team setting.
- work in an organized and efficient manner.
- has respect for the proper use of tools and equipment and can work in a clean and organized fashion.
